YMCA Recognizes Hundreds of Employees at Appreciation Event

Nearly 200 YMCA employees were honoured at our Employee Recognition Event on February 29, which recognized milestone years of service of 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, and 35 years.

It was a true showing of the dedication and passion our staff have when it comes to helping our community shine! 

The event also saw the launch of our Employee Service Awards Program, and our Shine On Ambassador Program. The awards program is a small gesture from the Y to thank our employees for continuing to live our mission every day, while the Ambassador program is an opportunity to fully embrace our values by supporting the Shine On philosophy and helping us build a strong, supportive, and inspired community. 

We are so incredibly lucky to have each and every one of our staff. The YMCA is the heartbeat of the community, and our staff are the spark that ignites the potential in everyone to thrive.
