The YMCA hires hundreds of seasonal employees for our variety of urban and outdoor Day Camp sites throughout Hamilton, Burlington and Brantford. In Haliburton, YMCA Wanakita hires year-round and seasonal positions to support summer overnight camp and year-round outdoor education program.
Camp staff become key figures in the lives of the children, youth and adults whom they teach, lead and have fun. We look for staff who will be positive role models to campers of all ages.

Director of Maintenance & Technical Lead
Status: Accepting
Position Type: Full- Time Salaried (40 hours per week), with benefits and a complimentary YMCA Membership
Starting Salary Range: $51,520-$56,250 annually, commensurate with experience

Day Camp Coordinators - Summer 2025
Position Type: Seasonal Contract (February 2025 - August 2025)
Locations: Various YMCA Camps across Hamilton, Burlington and Brantford, Ontario
Rate of Pay: $24.50 per hour
Work Hours:
*February 2025- March 2025: a part time work schedule based on 5-20 hours per week; remote work subject to operational needs. Evenings will be required.
*April 2025- August 2025: a full-time work schedule based on 40 hours per week. Evenings/weekends may be required.
