Turkstra summer barbeques will support local YMCA for a second year

Every Friday in the summer, Turkstra Lumber Hamilton hosts a charity barbeque in their parking lot. The Angus hamburgers and footlong hotdogs, for just $5, include a drink and your choice of toppings—condiments, pickles, onions, and tomatoes—and all proceeds go to the charity of the week!
The YMCA of Hamilton | Burlington | Brantford is honoured to be Turkstra’s barbeque charity four times this summer.
YMCA staff will be on hand flipping burgers, but will also be available to raise awareness about the Y and to speak about the different programs the proceeds will help fund.
The YMCA will be at Turkstra Lumber at 1050 Upper Wellington Street on the following dates:
- Friday, July 18 from 12pm-2pm.
- Friday, July 25 from 12pm-2pm.
- Friday, August 1 from 12pm-2pm.
- Friday, August 8 from 12pm-2pm.
