Camp Chippewa (Christie Conservation Area)
Ages 10 - 13
In Camp Fundamentals you will experience the magic of the outdoors and learn valuable camping skills in a fun environment at Camp Chippewa.
Campers learn to set-up a campsite, build and start a fire, cook over a fire, no-trace camping, and a variety of survival techniques. Sleepouts are held once a week on Thursday (weather permitting). Campers will prepare snacks, sing songs by the campfire, and experience Christie Lake Conservation area at night. Campers also enjoy camp classics such as swimming, archery, arts and crafts and canoeing.
Staff camper ratio is 1: 10.
Cost: $232 per week / $186 Weeks 1 & 6 (cost includes sleepout dinner and snacks on Thursday and breakfast and lunch on Friday).
